Ok, so we had to wait until Monday to find out the fate of the station.  During that time they played U2 crappy country music...and Boyz II Men and looped them...stupid.

Well today the new format is CLASSIC RAP.  Now, I love classic rap, I am listening to the station now streaming at work.

However, here are my true thoughts.  WHY?  Really why...does Phoenix need another rap station?  Do we not have enough with 98.3, 101.5, even 97.5 and 104.3 all dabble in classic rap as well.  Can you say over-saturation?  I can!  Here this station is going to compete with well established stations in  an over saturated market.  Whereas leaving the station as a Dance station it had basically a monopoly since no other station in Arizona played Dance/House/Techno.

Mark my words, within 2 years the format for this station is going to change again.  And right after they played Enjoy the Silence (the last song before the plug was pulled) they played U2 and I was like WTF, are there not enough stations, in Phoenix, that already play U2???  Now I have the same question for this new format.

My sister texted me last night - she had seen the new Kevin Smith flick and she said that he used Pixies HEY song in the movie!

How cool is that - first his spook and parody of the hey clip.....now using the song in his movie.  Very cool!!!

Life in general.  well....

December 4th-7th my sister and I get to go to California to visit our grandmother.   Grandma will finally be able to see my souvineers and pictures from Israel!!!

And, it has been a great week -  new classes starting up....and set up for the future.

Excellent communication with Lital - she got Shawn's package for Adi and her own B-day gift!   2 more weeks of vacation for the girls before they start back in college. 

Hopefully everyone's life is going well!!

Very interesting.  Ace has the scoop that Iran has threatened to have suicide bombers bomb us on American soil?  Now, in my crazy sense of humor the first thing was to think of places where there could be soft targets like UC Berkeley or that predominate Muslim community in Michigan (Dearborn I think).  IN REALITY, this would obviously mean a serious escalation and would only provoke the US to launching either unilateral strikes against them or allow us to slip Israel's leash.

The serious downside is that unlike what Israel has been able to do to reduce attacks (ie the Wall) this is not an option for us since those enemies are already inside the walls.  And, that is not entirely the worst of it.  Can you imagine what Obama's response would be if he was President and we started having suicide bombers start picking landmarks, malls, restaurants and key locals like airports or universities?  It would make the current economic headaches we are having look like fucking child's play.

Things are going rather well....I just started teaching 2 classes this week, (which brings me up to 6) and now got an invite for two more beginning in early November and 2 in Dec 1st.   YAY!!!!

That will make a nice dent into my credit cards (and my boss who paid for my fed exing - which I am paying back).  And, the year isn't even over yet!!!

I guess if this keeps up by January I can really start planning the next trip!!!!

Hehe I really like this show, much more now than I did before....like today they were in the Church of the Holy Sepulcher and well we were there!  It is so different knowing that we have been there touching and looking at the same things!  From the Kotel to churchs to the Cardo!  It is such a different feeling an exciting feeling.
